Had a chance to watch The Mars Volta at the Austin Music Hall last night and they were nutz. Jared Connor did the poster and took the photo of Cedric about to jump off a stack of amps and break at least a few of the many bones in his feet.

was at that show too and it f'n rocked! some times people need a pair of cymbals thrown at them to give perspective.
I winced at the cymbal toss. I mean, anyone in the line of fire who was busier keeping other people from crushing them and not paying attention to the stage could have been seriously hurt by a flying cymbal.
